Russian government allocated more than 11,5 million Euro for freight transport manufacturing development
Over 11,5 million Euro will be forwarded to manufacturing improvements and updating of the model line-up of trucks. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision was made following a business trip of the Head of Government to Naberezhnye Chelny city, which took place on the 3-rd of June, 2021. During the trip, Mikhail Mishustin visited the KamAZ plant, met with local employees and held a meeting devoted to the issues of development of the enterprise. According to the director of KamAZ, the plant management plan to increase the volume of vehicles production, boost the production of engines, axles and wheel-hub drives, uplevel the localization of cabs for trucks.
After returning to Moscow, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance to provide additional funding for the implementation of plans for the development of KamAZ. He also ordered to plan additional funds while next draft budget generation.
The allocated financing, in particular, will help the plant to recover expenses within the framework of investment projects and put into operation a new line for longeron profiling - principal structural element of vehicles.
